Ice Prevention & Removal Compound

Liquid Ice Melt aids in both the prevention as well as the removal of ice. this product does not generate heat, but works on a penetrative principle that unlocks the grip of ice adhering to the surface, thereby removing ice by flotation. Prior application of Liquid Ice Melt to surfaces when icing conditions are expected will help prevent ice formation and greatly assist removal of heavy snowfall.

Completely biodegradable, Liquid Ice Melt is free from phosphates, acids, alkalis, solids, or other polluted chemicals. This product decomposes quickly and avoids water, air, and ground contamination. Since it contains nothing that will dry to a powder, there is no white residue to track in. Containing no sodium chloride or calcium chloride, it will not pit concrete or kill grass. This product is harmless to concrete, metal, plastic, glass, wood, rubber, asphalt, terrazzo, and most painted surfaces. It is excellent for use in localized areas such as building entrances, steps, loading docks, ramps, and construction platforms.
